Moving from virtual back to face-to-face live meetings
The COVID-19 pandemic will undoubtedly change the process and checklist for meetings and events for the foreseeable future. It will be important to research and learn the many ways, innovative products, and socially accepted best practices for gatherings. To help you get equipped with some practical knowledge, we enlisted two event professionals from NHS Global Events who are producing events again safely in other markets. Allison and Matt will share with us how they organize events and ensure that all attendees and stakeholders are in a safe and clean environment while meeting or exceeding organizational event goals. Planners will walk away with ideas to create and implement their own health & safety plans, along with the Ateema’s Best Practices for Safe In-Person Meetings & Events list.

Meet Allison
A graduate of Bowling Green State University where she studied marketing and international business, Allison discovered her love of travel while visiting 19 countries during her semester abroad in France, and now strives to visit a different country every year.
Allison cherishes her ability to connect with others and loves to listen and get to know everyone she interacts with. Outgoing and positive, Allison is active in MPI and currently serves on the MPI-Chicago Area Chapter Board of Directors. She brings her love of people to her role at NHS Global Events and is a testament that our clients aren’t getting just one person to work with when they partner with us, but a whole team of passionate people.
Meet Matt
Matt joined NHS Global Events after spending over a decade in the hospitality industry with Caesars Entertainment Corporation, Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Visit Phoenix.
His passion for people allows Matt a great wealth of relationships both personally and professionally. He strives to be a person of unwavering integrity and treats everyone with the utmost level of dignity and respect. With his significant interpersonal relationship skills, Matt is truly a superlative player in the meetings and events industry.
Matt loves gaining experience through his travels and learning something from everyone he meets. He also strives to be a resource for others, sharing his breadth of knowledge when he can. His communication skills are fine-tuned and Matt challenges himself to ask questions that clients are not normally getting asked about for their meetings and events.
When he is not strengthening the relationships, he has with clients and colleagues, Matt enjoys a full life with his wife, Korin, and their boys, James and Martin. Apart from spending time with his family, Matt likes to cook and stay active with outdoor activities like golf and hiking.
