CATCH 35: Fresh Seafood & Live Music in Chicago's Loop

Located in Chicago's theatre district, Catch 35 not only features a newly crafted menu with the finest classic fresh seafood and other specialties, it is also renowned for the live jazz music.

The Menu

Always delicious, Catch 35 offers the freshest seafood and from the farm dishes with seasonal flavors. Fan favorites include pan roasted Chilean Sea Bass, Georges Bank Scallop Surf & Turf, Atlantic Salmon, Braised Beef short rib, and Nashville Hot Chicken.

The Music

The Eric Hochberg Trio plays every Tuesday through Saturday at Catch 35 Chicago. Eric Hochberg has been a mainstay of the Chicago music industry for over three decades. He has lent his bass work, and an occasional trumpet, keyboard and vocal lick, to a variety of projects across jazz, folk, rock and blues music.

He performed at the Jazz Festival of Chicago 21 times but also played at other festivals across the US and the rest of the world. Think: the famous Montreux or Rotterdam Jazz Festivals in Europe, Free Jazz in Brazil, the Blues and Roots Fest in Australia and much more.

And: he performed on the Oprah Winfrey shows three times, with Barbra Streisand, Johnny Mathis, and Gloria Estefan. You will find out more about the live jazz music at Catch 35 on their website.

Your Private Event

Whether you are looking for an intimate setting for your private seated dinner, or a larger scale reception, Catch 35 can accommodate private groups from 6 up to 75 people in one of their three private dining rooms. All rooms are separated from the main restaurant by glass doors.

Blue is Back!

Blue Man Group Resumes Its Chicago Residency

(c) Lindsey Best

Theatrical phenomenon Blue Man Group has made its long-awaited return to Chicago’s Briar Street Theatre. A dynamic combination of art, music, comedy and technology, Blue Man Group encourages audiences to reconnect with their inner (and outer) child in order to see the world through a new perspective.

“For more than 20 years, Blue Man Group has established itself as one of the top entertainment destinations in Chicago,” said Mary Grisolano, Managing Director of Blue Man Group. “We are absolutely thrilled to return to the stage and welcome new and returning audiences to the Briar Street Theatre.”

About Blue Man Group

Blue Man Group originally debuted at the Briar Street Theatre in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood in 1997. Three bald and blue men explore today’s cultural norms with wonder, poking fun at the audience’s collective quirks and reminding them how much they all have in common.

The show is continually refreshed with new music, stories, custom instruments and state-of-the-art technology. It is a celebration of human connection that has universal appeal for a broad range of age groups and cultural backgrounds.

Blue Man Group has become part of the pop culture zeitgeist and has served as the face of branding campaigns for Intel and TIM/Brasil and appeared countless times on hit shows like “The Tonight Show,” “Arrested Development,” “Ellen,” “Schlag den Raab” (Germany), “WOWOW” (Japan), and “Caldeirão do Huck” (Brasil).

Beyond the stage show, they are Grammy-nominated recording artists, known for their contributions to various film and TV scores and multiple Blue Man Group albums. Their “Megastar World Tour” rock concert parody played arenas across the globe. The group’s first-ever book, Blue Man World, is a visually stunning anthropological exploration of the curious bald and blue character. 35 million people have seen Blue Man Group worldwide. Now it’s your turn. If you haven’t seen Blue Man Group, you haven’t seen Chicago.
